Saw the feature trailer for the new Karate Kid, and literally is Karate Kid: The Force Awakens; right down to a troubled kid, a tournament, and a Billy Zapka character.

I like the first movie, and the first season of Cobra Kai (I’m told it gets bad later, but that’s neither here nor there) but I’m so fucking sick of this formula.
