You can't beat Arnold movies for dumb action. Especially when we are talking about films like Total Recall and Running Man which seem like mere dumb action at first but become surprisingly cerebral as you watch.

Arnold was special. One interesting thing about his heyday is that he worked with several top-shelf directors. Walter Hill, James Cameron, Paul Verhoeven. Also, he didn't beat franchises to death to the extent that Stallone did. Arnold did two Conan movies early on and when a "Terminator" sequel came out seven years later it was considered just as good as the original.

One thing about Stallone is that he was also a writer and a director and he had a lot of power in Hollywood after "Rocky". If you look at many of his 80s movies, he often has a co-writing credit (as he does on Rambo II). I haven't read too deeply into this, but I wonder if one reason why Stallone tended to work with unremarkable directors back in the day was because he wanted to work with people that he could dominate and veto their decisions.

Speaking of action movies, G20 may be just the thing to help the country heal after Literally Hitler's re-election. It asks the question "What if a black woman President of the United States was an action hero who had to single-handedly stop a bunch of white terrorists at the G20 summit?"

I don't know. I guess if Harrison Ford in "Air Force One" is a thing, then this can be a thing, too.

If this was a movie made in 1973, I think I'd be interested, but it's some new crap so I don't care.

Ah yes, the G20 summit! The only political event more boring than China's infamous Two Sessions, a ten day long borefest where two parts of congress agree with each other and compliment Jimpeen's wisdom and girth.
