They do realise the Shenmue fanbase are total spergs right? It isn't the first time Sweeney has targeted kickstarted games for exclusivity, but there have been refunds for that. If you are going to do this shit, you should provide a steam version that is solely for pre-orders.

Though yet again, if you pre-order a game I can't be too sympathetic to you. I leaned that lesson with Killzone 1 in 2004, even Total Fucking Biscuit told people not to pre-order shit.
