I guess I'll see when the online is unfucked. Playing him, he doesn't seem a bit faster, though.

Did they srsly add another sword bloke with a blue outfit?

Nintendo should really copy a bit from Suikoden. At least that franchise tried to give every protagonist a distinct outfit and weapon.

Pikachu is cancer because he overshadows Raichu. They never even bothered giving their own Pikaclones an evolution. It's that bad.

I had a chance to play a bit of the game and it seems fun. I don't own a switch but someone who does had it on them. It's the kind of game I'd buy if I owned a switch or wanted to own one. The castlevania characters were fun.

So, I played a lot of Smash the last few days and spent much time in the lab.
From where we're now, there's more tech, actually useful tech, in this game than in 4. It's better in just about every way, faster in absolutely every way and has a lot more potential.
K. Rool doesn't actually seem to be a problem. You just have to respect his armoured moves for the most part. Parries go a long way as well. He's super fun to play, though.

Chrom is pretty busted, though. The numbers are coming in and the fucker basically has the same frame data as Roy, doesn't have his range disadvantage but a broken AF up B. He's going to get the nerf hammer for sure.

Mechanically, foxtrotting is mega strong. You can shield grab out of it by pressing shield and A out of a dash to extend grab range, cancel any tilt into aerials, including instant backturn backair during the initial dash animation and cancel a reverse tilt into any other tilt to extend reach depending on character.
So, basically, you can dash dance and from there have almost every single option available to you.
Opponent approaches? Dash back into fair, bair, nair, reverse f-tilt or pivot grab.
Opponent doesn't approach? Foxtrot to close in, be able to use any tilt immediately, grab, shield grab, RAR, shorthop aerial, fullhop aerial, tilt cancel into tilts and aerials, use B moves in every way, including grounded and aerial B reverse, or hard stop into smash.

What I'm saying is that you can nearly execute every single move out of a sprint and every move out of a dash. Many characters also move much faster around the stage foxtrotting than regular sprinting. That's very noticeable with Incineroar.
We have about as much depth as Melee. Ultimate could age like a fine wine.

Yeah I heard Chrom is a better Roy because he doesn't have to tipper.
