Literally all the smash babies were like "who?" when Terry was announced and I was maximum triggered.

And they wonder why they are fucking hated by the broader FGC. That and the smell, obviously.

This is legit the first time I'm really excited about a new character. I want to see his moveset so bad!

Up = Rising Tackle
Down = Crack Shoot?

Down could also be Power Dunk (MotW crash move) or Power Geiser. But I think you got it mostly right. It's the obvious moves.
Taunts will be interesting. "Come on, come on!" and "Get serious!" absolutely need to be there. Final Smash obviously should be Buster Wolf and must come with a "Are you okay?".
Geese would obviously be awesome as well but I don't expect a second SNK representative and him being in the announcement video failing to grab the letter supports that. But he could be cool as an assist trophy as well.

I finally know how the kiddies felt about getting Banjo or Joker. I'll check Banjo out in a bit when I'm home.


Edit: Messed around a bit with Banjo. He seems pretty alright. Though he has one of those down aerial that just travels downward and seems to have no spike, which I find a bit annoying. His forward aerial is very strong, though.

Look like he'll have strong and weak versions of his specials. They will likely do it like they did for the SF shotos where the correct input gives you the strong version. Maybe they'll also give him his two trademark supers as a Final Smash like they did for them. Buster Wolf when close, the triple Power Gaiser when far.
His model looks great! If they are really cool they give him his Garou look as well.

Edit: And obviously the Just Defend pose when parrying.

I was happy to finally see Banjo, that was my childhood right there. Wish they could get away from Microsoft. I think me and my brother were the only ones in our group that knew who Terry was. I honestly wanted it to be Cody. kinda sad how we grew up with fatal fury 2 and samurai shodown yet no street fighters. oh well.
