The biggest issue here is all the autistics who eventually took over the original developers jobs haven't the slightest bit of creativity. This goes for every game. I frankly don't know how Doom 2016 turned out so good seeing as I'd has been rendered a label and not a studio.

I've seen the "skill tree" and I'm impressed with how much effort they spent to make an utterly linear five skill pile of wank look like a skill tree at a glance.

I'd rather clean the gutters of a five story building on a shaky ladder for an afternoon. Vertigo would be more enjoyable than wasting my time on this dogshit.

It's always optional until it's not. I can't remember which game it was that added pay-to-win AFTER all the reviews had come out praising the game. They patched that shit into their game post-launch. Might have been Shadow of Mordor.

I think Asscreed Greece had the XP normal in the review copies and then nerfed XP gain in the release version and put boosters in the shop.
