I blame gamers/customers rather than developers. There'd be no supply if there was no demand. Fallout 76 kind of games are released again and again because gaming Cucksons are too much autistically fixated on certain brands and companies.
That aforementioned reddit poster is a good example. Dude claims he spent whooping 4000 hours on Fallout 4 and now basically working as a play tester of the new game for free. That's quite fucked up.

It's not like Fallout's spirit is completely dead because there are spiritual successors like Arcanum, Underrail, etc, there is no reason to become Bethesda's Cuckson.
