Dead Horse Interchange

The only game I have bought is Dragon Ball FighterZ. The only games on my Wishlist that I want aren't discounted enough for me to give a shit, Cuphead is only 20% off and it came out in September while Fighterz was 40% off and came out in January. A lot of indie devs are giving fuck all discounts for their games lately while the bigger devs and AAA don't give a shit and slash 40% off after a few months, it's really weird.

I have to go over my wishlist and clear shit since their are games that have been there for years I don't care about. For a good year now I have been mostly playing fighting games more than anything.

A lot of shit these days only gets 20-40% discounts on these big sales, and I'm not about to give my money to some piss-poor sale like that. It doesn't help a lot of these indie games are $15-30 or more, and IMO their actual quality is worth about $5.

voidu / cdkeys / g2a are always cheaper so the sale is useless. I only buy games on steam that arent on those sites.

Steam used to have competitive pricing when flash sales were still a thing. It also made the two big sales much more interesting since checking every three hours could result in getting something like a 80 or 90% discount. This time, I didn't even check Steam. I've gotten the e-mail about games on my list being on sale and the discounts weren't worth it.

I was gonna buy saints row 2 again just to have it on PC, but apparently steam sucks dick and the pc port is terrible.

It is. The Gentlemen of the Row mod makes it slightly less terrible, but it still runs like as and has weird cutscene issues (like having your character's weapon float a feet or so away from his hand).

Yeah, it's really bad. You need to many mods just to fix shit you barely end up using any of the source code in the first place.

Because then the console manufacturers will shit their pants.

Incompetence and indifference is what I'd say is the reason.
