I was definitely a console pleb growing up, I always wanted a better PC but my parents barely used the one we had and didn't have a need for another one, so I was stuck with console.Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Mon Jun 11, 2018 11:54 am>PS1

I remember my friend letting me borrow baldur's gate 1 and the only parts I could play was the beginning, as soon as the tutorial battle loaded my pc chugged to 1 frame per second

It could've handled GTA, though. That game has slowdowns for massive 50 car explosions on every PC, even current ones.

I had a Packard bell growing up until like the early 2000s
That's probably why I appreciate atari as much as I do, we had a handful of Nintendo games and mostly rented, but we owned a fuckton of atari because even back then no one wanted it.

Supposedly red dead employee's were working 100 hour work weeks during crunch time to finish the game. Everyone says MUH EMPLOYEE RIGHTS when these people know what they are getting into when they go into that career, and make damn good money doing it.

And yet the story most likely wont be much more then a basic plot about Dutch's group going from a band of freedom seeking cowboys to banditos and the conflict within.
No idea what they spend so much time writing on.

Probably had to make dozens of rewrites for political correctness.
