I'd like to know how much actual recording he was doing anyway. I could swear they used the same recordings over and over again anyway.

I've seen an interview this year before this was announced that 1) He basically just keeps saying phrases until they tell him to stop and they obviously have enough recordings to last for years and 2) he couldn't discuss any future ties with Nintendo. At the time, I thought this was just future game wise, but turns out, it also includes this too.
