Those tweets certainly make a strong case for piracy.
You shouldn't have been playing games in the first place, much less paying for them.
What else are you going to do, play life? Get the fuck outta here.

Gayming is the epicenter of soy faggotry. Its worse than Hollywood at this point. Get a better consoomer hobby. If you mist then come back to gayming when - or if - the fags are weeded out.

I have to do a 4 monster hunt to rank up village quests in Gen, I believe. That's gonna be painful.
The five monster quest was in the arena to it was easily manageable in the time. Maybe even too much so as there were always two monsters active but since you can raise a fence you can separate them most of the time.

I've got quite a couple of quests to still clear and at least three key quests to advance in hunter rank. But the building sickness has got me. There are two Funlances I want to build and I'm itching to make a new gunner armour set.
Shit like that is why it takes me 200 hours to get to G-Rank. There's too much to craft! I mean, if I don't make those High Rank things now, when am I ever going to use them, right? And in the case of weapons I'll need to make them anyway.

Now that Nintendo is bending the knee I can't believe anyone would still pay for games. It's like paying for porn.

First urgent quest for G-rank completed! Now it's off to whack a Gammoth.

Edit: That was easy. Beat the snot out of Benjamin Blümchen in no time. I still don't have access to the airship location. I guess it was restricted to HR7 after all.
Oh well, finally got access to G-Rank hunts and materials now. I'll go look for something to make a nice armour out of. After that I'll likely go get wrecked by angry, angry pickle a couple of times got get myself some claws for better charms.

Oh fuck me dead, it's not G-Rank. That comes after HR7. I've just gained access to hyper versions of monsters in hunts. Still, I need lots of hyper stuff for weapons so it's fine.
I've got a long way to go!

Update: There are no regular 6 star quests with hyper monsters. I guess I have to unlock them. Tried out a DLC quest with a hyper Shogun Cenataur. I get three hit killed by the guy. Brave stance dodge? Still about a quarter of my health. That's clearly not viable.
I'll go and clear villager requests for now and see if I unlock some new juicy armour to build.

I love the giant enemy crabs of MonHun. Though I prefer Hermie over Shogun because of the funnier animations. And because of that one time in 4U where I fucking aced H-Rank Hermie without getting hit once - that is until I fucked up and got two-shotted by his bubble beam

Gammoth is probably the easiest of the 4 "nemesis" monsters from Gen. Though he's pretty intimidating since he's probably the largest monster that can still roam in the regular map areas.

Hermitaur is perfectly fine. One of those cases of an old gen monster that I don't think is lazy or shitty. You can always tell what he's going to do by the way he moves. He doesn't have ambiguous moves or annoying shit he does to troll you. I don't really like Shogun Ceanataur though. His rage mode is a little OP, where he has the claws out, insane range and inflicts bleed iirc. Little too much.

Yup, causes bleed, circles you constantly and has insane range. I couldn't do anything during his rage mode. Him just running me over, you know, the shit that usually does next to no damage, did a quarter of my life bar. I just stood there, guarding. That's no fun.
Regular H-Rank Shogun? I fuck that nigga's shit up, fam! But the hyper one was plain unmanageable.

Gammoth was easy as hell because I still remembered all his moves and I play funlance.
What I didn't tell you is that I've tried some stuff out in the meantime. Got my shit kicked in trying out HBG again against a regular H-Rank Shogun. Hunted one with SA and took nearly half an hour in one of the most miserable experiences I've ever had. Hunted a Lavasioth with regular Lance in Striker style. It went okay, I guess.

Getting back into GL was pretty easy. Just owned a Nargacuga real badly. I'd go so far as to say I styled on him. Perfect guard point quick reloads, perfect Brave stance dodges into fast engaging. Only fauxpas was me overheating the GL once. But I barely got hit.
But getting back into some other weapons yesterday was nothing but pain and failure. I'm thinking of giving Brave GS a try, though. I'll likely also go on a hunt with Striker GL. Charged shots and three hunter arts is no joke. Way less mobile for the most part but other than that you can be aggressive as hell with it.
I just need a good Wide-type GL first. That's where Striker exceeds at.

After lots of experimenting around with different weapons and styles I've reworked my main set a bit.
Still Seltas armor but with the help of a good charm I now also have tremor negation. That will help a whole lot. You can block tremors but if you miss it it's one of the few things that forces your weapon to sheathe, which is really the only time you're not able to guard that isn't your own fault.

I've given the lance sprint art another try because I've unlocked the third level of that art a few days ago. This is now my favourite art for normal type GL.
I sacrifice being able to access the wyvernfire outside of brave mode with the AA-art. I just need to utilize the full reload and the wyvernfire out of the brave stance instead. The out of stance WF isn't as powerful or quick as the one in brave mode but it has a lot of range and charges the bar by a very good margin.

The level three sprint completely makes up for that. It covers a massive distance, hits amazingly hard with a lance slam, can be followed up by a full burst and even does mounting damage.
I've just tried it out against a Shogun Cenataur (I want that gunner armour ffs!) and I've wrecked it HARD. Largest one yet, smashed it's shell with the lance sprint slam and mounted it in the same hit. I even missed it two times and had to deal with a bit of interference by a Daimyo Hermitaur.
8 minutes flat, accidentally killed and not captured. Using a blast element GL certainly helped but boy did that Cenataur have a terrible time!

Adept GS works very well against the fucker as well, by the way. Made myself a nice GS out of him as a trophy. His wide-range moves and predictable movement work to it's detriment against adept style. Insta dodge into charged up run up slash into quick strong charge all day!

Meanwhile, World doesn't seem to be in a good state from what I'm reading. Some shit about a "tenderize" mechanic with a grappling claw added in Iceborn. Don't like the easy mode slinger and environmental traps? Well, good luck because the game is completely balanced around it.
Get yourselves Doubberu Curossu instead. Emulation is a bit crappy still but it's only a matter of time.
