Being in Smash didn't make Pokeymans popular. Pokeymans was already popular, that's why it's in Smash in the first place. Yah dumb nigger.

They basically had to put Pokemon in there. It was already that popular.
Fire Emblem is certainly a bit obscurer, but Earthbound? If Ness wasn't in these titles it would be a real hidden gem.

Fire Emblem was unheard of and had never been localised outside of Japan. Earthbound, having an American release, was already a cult classic. The South Park guys admit to being influenced by it

That's why Pikachu was OP as fuck in the original, every tier list for the original has him well at the top like Leeroy now in Tekken 7.
