While games in the last 20 years drop because of age Nintendo games don't. They are at least 60 bucks in the used game market. For example Mario Sunshine is still 60 bucks on ebay and such. So Nintendo is pretending to be doing them a favor while suckering them.

And they deliberately produce way below that number of games to induce hysteria among their cuck fans. Scalpers must be jizzing themselves right now. Nintendo has already done the work. All they have to do is buy or steal the shit at retail, turn around and mark it up $20-30 on ebay, then make money off stupid parents and nostalgiafags.

Just because that's what they're asking for, doesn't mean that's what it's worth. Mario Sunshine had a massive print run and it was Player's Choice which means it sold so well it got a second (or whatever number) print run with a much lower price point. Only a sucker would pay face value for it.

Now, a copy of Wind Waker with the Ocarina of Time Master Quest disc, or a PAL copy of Mario Superstar Baseball (probably one of the rarest Gamecube Mario titles in the EU). Those might actually be worth face value
