Trilobyte tried twice to crowdfund 7th Guest 3 but failed both times. What a clown world where a scam like Star Citizen can rake in gatrillions while a sequel to a chad game like T7G can't catch a cold.

The final games for the genesis mini has been revealed and in a move that shocks no one the Japanese version gets a bunch of extras like 6 button controllers instead of 3 button, a carrying case, and some non functional add on's like the 32x and sega cd. Not to mention a better line up of games overall.

There's already a Genesis Classic with 8 billion shitty playing games on it. They expect us to buy another with only a handful of games? Can't I just buy two Psx Classics again?

The genesis ultimate collection already has a bunch of games on it and you don't need to buy a whole system.

Yeah, unlike Nigtendo it's pretty easy to get legal emulated collections of Genesis games, anywhere and on almost any platform.

Sega going out of the console business was awesome for gamers. They've been pretty happy to release all their most popular and beloved Genesis games in cheapo collections for your system of choice. You can even play sanic 2 legally on a psp if you want.

Next time these cuck vidya fans try to tell you that a company going out of business would be bad and "we just need to support them even if they make a shit game," don't you believe it. Sega went out of business and it became way, way easier to get a hold of their good games. Same happened with SNK. You can go buy your neo-geo or genesis if you want, but now you have alternatives.

If Nintendo or Microsoft stopped making consoles, you better believe they'd think about releasing the games they hold licenses for onto other systems. Some money > no money and these are collections of buttfucking roms so it's not like they have to work for the money.

These days, the only games that become really hard to play are the ones where emulation is spotty, the company was/is really small, there's no clear license holder and limited or no interest in the game. I have less than zero interest in buying some snes mini bullshit. I'll play roms and wait for cucktendo's profits to get low enough that they finally give us a proper retro collection for a reasonable price. If that never happens, that's why roms exist and fuck you very much shigeru.
