I've never beaten the original LoZ, but as a gaming snob, I must mention you have to play Famicom Disk System version or its equivalent because NES version is not a truly true Zelda experience (ie worse sound chip).

Did you know that the original Zelda 2 was called Doki Doki Picnic in Japan?

I've never heard of that game. Is that a hidden gem? Do you have any copies of that game? I'll buy a dozen for $500 over market value immediately!Le Redditeur wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2019 12:02 amDid you know that the original Zelda 2 was called Doki Doki Picnic in Japan?

There's one villain that you defeat by screaming into the microphone on the player 2 controller of the Famicom. Since the NES didn't have a microphone, there is a different way to defeat that enemy. (I've never actually played the game, but I saw this in some video or read it somewhere.)Rushy wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2019 12:20 amAre there any gameplay differences?AdorableOtter wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2019 4:41 pmI've never beaten the original LoZ, but as a gaming snob, I must mention you have to play Famicom Disk System version or its equivalent because NES version is not a truly true Zelda experience (ie worse sound chip).
