Kana isnt that hard, its the six gorillion other chinese characters that cause problems. Even the nips dont know all their kanji.
(that said I cant read funky fonts or low res images like game screenshots)

The only class I ever failed was Japanese. Fuck learning a foreign language.

I would have killed to learn Japanese at school, but all my shitty school offered was French, German and Spanish. They had a Mandarin class after school but fuck staying after school, especially to learn Mandarin

And since a lot of businesses are Japanese I would argue that Japanese is very useful. Certainly more useful than French

French is more wide-spread and for a European more useful. Nihongoniggers don't want anything do do with baka gaijin anyway.

That said, I can't speak any either, despite having French for two years. The other choice was Danish. Obsolete language that's about 10% original words and the rest being old Swedish that you never need because 100% of Danes either speak German or English. Plus, I don't want to speak to them anyway.
