Lizard guys are probably the most optimal racial choice, since they get waterbreathing and some other stuff that's nice. But they're also ugly.

I'm sure there must be at least one mod out there that turns them into sexy waifus, akin to Dragon Half.

Well, they have other abilities too. Water-breathing can be useful when you want to explore places early game. They resist disease, which is nice when you don't want to be turned into a vamp. But I do agree that night vision ranks high on the list of abilities I choose for myself when playing any elder scrolls game. I usually rush for either a night vision magic spell, night vision racial skill or illumination spells.

Can't they just enchant helmets to give of light? It's not like magic is rare or anything. Every bigger city has a bloody guild.

Night vision is still better, since you can remain hidden in darkness.

I'm just pointing out that they're far from being special in this case. Though I would never dare to suggest that nekos are never not the optimal choice in general.

I wish Fagcom would do something with the Ghouls and Ghosts series / Gargoyle's Quest. It's one of their better franchises and they never do shit with it. Firebrand cameo in a shitty mahvul game doesn't count. Seriously man, G&G is one of the best games ever that I can't play.



This game is such an unfair asshole and it's great.
