The old ways are not forgotten. Too many neckbeards have played these old games for that to happen.

EDIT: Also I decided to humor Kugel-kund and check out Dusk. I had to pay actual money for this, so it better be the best damn FPS I have ever touched.

*3 levels later*

Pretty cool so far, so I'm not sure about that flip mechanic, unless you get like a double jump later. Sliding is pretty lulzy, though.

Flipping is in because why not. The reload spin also does damage for no good reason.
Buckle up, it's going to get wild!

I was watching a video on Yooka Laylee and it reminded me that the N64 sucked balls.

It seems mode 7 (rotating effects) of SNES got a decent facelift.

I'm 100% ready for the brand new mode 7 experience but I can't think of any. Ahhh, that rotating stage of Castlevania maybe???

F-Zero and Mario Kart aren't exactly obscure.

Also Lupa’s grandmother? Please, we know that hag was alive and well back then. She’s like the dude from Highlander, only a cunt.

The ultimate test is probably Yoshi's Island. Doesn't really have the tilted word map, but makes plenty of use of Mode 7 regardless.
