Retro Games
Re: Retro Games
I vaguely remember playing Gungnir a bit. Don't know why I stopped playing it.
I'm in your bedroom, folding your clothes.

Tictac, you surprise me. I didn't think you'd delve into the weeb abyss and find Sting. Too bad that ever since they got merged with Idea Factory they have done fuck-all but release some poor ass Vita gaymes beyond Generation of Chaos 6 for the PSP.rabidtictac wrote: ↑Sun May 06, 2018 4:43 pmIf you like the story of LuCT, you should really check out the Sting RPG Gungnir. Its story and presentation are very similar. It's quite a mature game in terms of tone.
Also, if you never played Knight of Lodis, that's the one I've spent the most time on. I had several custom weapons with godlike stats and everything.
I miss shit like Yggdra Union. Worse is that I know that I'll never get another masterpiece like the Langrisser series or Urushihara's art on a JRP ever again due to the moe infestation and the fuckery of the PSVita. At least I have Xenogears and Musashi on my PSP so there's that. Got Rising Zan as well for extra fun.

Re: Retro Games
Reviera was the Sting game I played the most. I played a bit of GBA Yggdra Union (very hard) and a fair amount of Gungnir until I hit a brick wall of difficulty. I have Knights in the Knightmare, but I never learned how to play it.

Man, it's been years since I touched Riviera. I remember I even got its theme and wallpaper when I first got my PSP and was very excited about it and the whole themes-wallpapers possibilities. Finally somebody made a walkthrough, explaining some things :
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/psp/98609 ... faqs/61783
but it was a bit too late for me and I had moved on from that game. Blaze Union and Hexyz Force are the two Sting games I remember having the most fun with.

I never got into hexyz force at all.
gamefaqs had guides for the gba version of riviera. I think blaze union was only JP.

Yeah, it's largely the same game with some small updates, kinda like how Brandish PSP is largely like Brandish for the SNES. Blaze and Gloria Union were japanese only if I remember correctly, due to some shit storm between Atlus and Sting back then?

The collections are on ps4, xbone and PC I think, plus gamecube and ps2.
And you can always get ROMS.
