Also, if you doubt my point about team ninja and game graphics, go compare Ninja Gaiden Black to Ninja Gaiden 2. Both games look good but nothing about NG2's visuals screams "this is the next generation of visual quality." NG Black was a benchmark game from the og xbox/ps2/gamecube era because it looked so much better than almost every other game across all platforms. Ninja Gaiden 2? Nah, it looks merely good. By the time NG2 was out, xbox 360 and ps3 already had better-looking games on it. Later that very same year, Dead Space came out for the same platform.
And Ninja Gaiden 3? Shit looks downright ugly artistically and the graphical fidelity is mediocre. It looks about as good as NG2, but with much worse color choices. NG2 was graphically a natural slight step up from NG Black and still had a lot of colorful and vibrant areas. But NG3 did the whole brown and gray and red thing, which just underscored how bland the game looks:
^Here's NG3 running on ps3 and wii u.
Here's Ninja Gaiden 2 running on xbox 360. Looks better than NG3 running on ps3 to me, tbh.
^Here's Ninja Gaiden Black running in HD. I'm not trying to troll here. You can see that the visuals aren't as crisp as NG2 and 3, but the different on the models really isn't that big. It still fundamentally looks like the same game.
I'm not trying to say anything about the quality of the games, just that I remember a time when Team Ninja were on the forefront of console graphics and now it's clear their own laziness/new jewish priorities are leading them in a different direction. People used to say "oh man, Ninja Gaiden and DoA! Those games look better than anything else on the consoles!" And then consolefags would slapfight about whether RE4 looked better than NG Black or if DoA 3 looked better than Tekken 5. DoA and NG now look like ass compared to the fighting games coming out these days.
