Leo is mad good right now because Leo is simple. At least that's what I think. Keep in mind that the current meta, despite the game technically having been around for well over a year now, is very young. The people that developed the meta have been tourney players exclusively. What they really love is a simple and effective character. The specialist that comes along with a complicated character they mastered doesn't exist yet.

The crux of being simple is being transparent. Leo gets much worse when there are no walls around. Still strong but suffers most from a lack of them.
The closest thing to a tier list is this. Bear in mind that it's judged by Nips, who are second-rate pros when it comes to Tekken, and that it's a judgement from the arcade version without considering the patches for PC and potatoes.
Either way, tiers are very close to each other. The things most people agree on is that King and Steve are fucking amazing and that Lucky Cloe is pretty shit.

The list above isn't even complete. I can't see Lee on it, for example. Checked him out in practise earlier and he's pretty complicated with many moves requiring strict timing. But he seems really damn powerful.
I guess that's really the joke with T7; almost every character feels pretty powerful and capable. You're hard pressed to go through a chars move list and think they suck.

Leo has always been simple. Leo was A-tier in TTT2 because she's simple and powerful. But more specialized or difficult characters usually have shit that Leo doesn't have. Leo doesn't have an EWGF-style move. I can't remember if she has a good launching hopkick. She has some stance transition kick moves but those aren't as fast. Leo and Feng both seem pretty similar. Feng is harder to use but both characters have the basic Tekken tools and can play all-around strong games. But Leo isn't TTT2 Bob, Lars or capo. And even compared to a character like Feng, Feng has a lot more tricks than Leo due to stance transitions and deceptive attacks.

Lel Leo in C-Tier below Dragunov.

Like I said, Nips voted that list. There's a good reason they don't ever win a tournament if a Korean is around. The fucking cleaning lady would still body them.

Japanese tier lists are usually trash, but I'll cut them some slack because the game is new to the worldwide scene.

But which Tekken waifu has the most moe costume options?

(The answer is probably Lucky Cloe, but her paw-things freak me out tbh.)

Most moe? Likely Xiaoyu. But everybody knows that Lilly is the only proper waifu.

Xiaoyu was always too far on the lolicon spectrum for my tastes. But I assume she's gotten a bit older since Tekken Tag Tournament XD.

That list seems old, xiayou is pretty much tip top tier at the moment.

Dragunov definitely didn't use to be SS tier. He was a solid character, but not the best ever.

Akuma is far from second to worst tier. That's nip moonspeak, right?
Xiaoyu being top tier is correct, though. She's got good matchups against other good characters. She's the bane of King especially. But that list is old as well. Where's Eddy? Where's Eliza? Lee? Bears?
As I said initially, it's way too early to judge. Just Lucky Cloe being rather bad seems to be what people can agree on.

Opinions on MvC:I and DBFZ?
I think Mahvul looks like flaming-hot dumpster fire garbage. DBFZ looks pretty fucking cool, though.
