Oh man, did you guys know that The Last Blade 2 is on Steam? And it's not ported by DotEmu (aka "You're better off emulating it yourself"), but by Code Mystics, aka the guys who previously ported Kof '98, 2002, and basically all the other SNK ports that don't suck balls?

I'm a bit miffed the Ash Saga never got a Dream-Match-type of deal. I'd totally dig a KoF XI with even more characters.

But we already have those on bundles and on PSN / XBLA already. Unless the online is such a nice thing and I've been missing out.

As for DBFZ, to my surprise, nobody caught that it is basically a high-end, uncucked, high-spec sequel to Extreme Butouden for the 3DS that ArcSys made 3 years or so ago. A lot of the systems have been kept and refined to perfection, including the "auto" combos. Good for ArcSys though, nice game and obviously modable as fuck for maximum laughs :





Also had time to see the new SC VI vids and...yeah, they don't really do it for me. I gotta say it looks better than IV and V but that's not saying much at this point since it needs to be at least better than III to even be good and on the radar as a fightan. The way the strip system works and the particles fly off are distracting though, the particles more so than anything. It's like guidelines for spazzes and the super moves lose their flare due to bloom and flash saturation throughout the fight. And I get depressed every time I'm reminded of this :
