Boom is almost as buggy as 06 but what is there really to say after 06? You can't top that. A 3D Sanic being buggy as hell is not only not a surprise anymore, it's what everyone fully expects.

Boom was just some shitty spin-off game. '06 was a big tentpole major reboot of the franchise, that Sega somehow thought was okay to release as is.

But dude, it was the anniversary! It just HAD to get released right then. How could you celebrate an anniversary without a game? And boy did it ever shape the impression people had about the game series. Can't take that away from Team Sonic!
