Unfortunately, Nippon loved the first game because it told an emotional otosan-daughteru story in a zombie apocalypse and they've never seen that beforethey know jack shit about the walking dead so it's not surprising and well...if you've seen how the west reacted to the game, the nips were genuinly soul crushed, some even spent some moments "praying" using Ellie for Joel. But then again, reajus and girls over there love those sappy emotional stories and since it's a western story, the fruit is extra tasty since it's foreign.

Oh and everyone was shocked that Ellie is angry bitch lesbo because no one played the first game's DLC. Not many were happy to see their pure daughteru be this degenerate.
