(It's telling that a discussion about hot dogs is much more interesting than fucking Last of Us)
Caramelizing onions is way too much work for a hotdog. If I get one, which is very rare these days, I just use good sausage, good mustard and a good bread - apparently it's called pointed roll in english, otherwise
rohlíky. (My country excells in quality breads, we have so many good options that I mostly just eat bread with butter and nothing else to enjoy the taste).

I fucking love onions in general. I can eat one raw like an apple.

Hell, donuts in general are obscure and difficult to find here and I haven't had a good one all my life. We have
Berliner* instead.
Aka Kobliha in my country. It's a piece of shit. Dry as a desert, with either little, or little more disgusting filling. And if you're extra lucky, they fill them with fucking nutella instead of a jam. They can be heavenly when made at home, but I've never seen good ones sold in stores. We've got some quality pastry, but in some cases, it's very hard, or impossible, to get the actual good stuff, unless you find some fancy shop that can exist in a big city.
