I was fooled at first as well but that was mostly to the fucking slinger being gone and me not being used to nu-MonHun anymore.
Once you get used to it it's piss easy. There are barely any monsters or even quests and half the game isn't even done and comes via update in June or something.
I've already made a large spergpost in the MonHun thread so I won't go into more detail here. Some design decisions are just baffling.

I'll look for the post. A real shame Capcom decided to jew out so hard on this series. I guess that's why they resurrected Ghosts'n'Goblins. It's probably for the best then that Boobs Eater and Toukiden died when they did.
