Re: Nintentard's thread
I'd rather use a N64 controller.

Re: Nintentard's thread
The Joycon has a shite d-pad for the sole reason that the two halves can be used as independent controllers, so they both need face buttons.
The company that made some of the finest d-pads in all the land ditched this fine design for a shitty co-op mode which I don't think is even that common.
The only case I can think of is Astral Chain, and it basically just splits the regular controls amongst the two players.

The dpad is so fucking terrible on the switch, seriously bruh. I was borrowing one to play some nes and snes roms and it's just shameful how inferior the "pad" is. The 3ds and ds pads are fine and I can do EWGF on psp pad no problem, but the switch... Iwata deserves a caning for that decision.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19, 2020 6:22 amThe Joycon has a shite d-pad for the sole reason that the two halves can be used as independent controllers, so they both need face buttons.

Re: Nintentard's thread
I would actually refuse to call it a "dpad". Cause it's just 4 buttons with no relation to each other.
Not blocky/pixely enough. 7/10. Worst controller I've ever seen.

Midna? I knew some weird people who had a real hard on for her. Also furries of course since she rides on Link when he turns into a wolf or something. All the raving about that has caused me to never ever want to even take a look at Twilight princesu.
It's a trap!
