This is about the rise of muh MegaCorps, isn't it? He better not talk about cyberspace because hacking in cyberpunk games never made a lick of sense.
I haven't watched the video, but it's probably 8 minutes of this:

Oh, that one.
I assume it was a common attitude towards political correctness at the time, back when you were still allowed to make fun of it.

Not to mention all the rewards for game that wasn't even released back then (and had every red flag for clusterfuck possible)
But Turn out to be dogshit when it actually was released:

>2018 Game Critics Awards: Special Commendation for Graphics
Every AAA game has 'Purdy' graphics it's literally the only thing they have going for them any more-fuck off!

>2018 Game Critics Awards: Special Commendation for Innovation
The Game litearlly striped Allllll of it's RPG elements just so it could pander to the lowest common denominator by being a another bloody GTA clone!

>2018 Golden Joystick Awards: Most Wanted Game
>2018 Gamer's Choice Awards: Most Anticipated Game
>2019 Golden Joystick Awards: Most Anticipated Game

They literally gave it the same award several times

2019 Game Critics Awards: Special """Commendation""" for Graphics

Those awards are really only there to agree with the hyped mass of morons. They are the only ones that care anyway.

Those awards are about as meaningful as a top 10 ranking on GameFags.
Especially the "Most Anticipated" aka "Most Overhyped" one. Is there even a movie-equivalent for this?

Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt will pay just $1.85 million in proposed class-action settlement

Last week, we reported that game developer CD Projekt was negotiating to settle a class-action lawsuit over the infamously botched launch of Cyberpunk 2077, a game that came riddled with bugs and poor enough performance on consoles that Sony pulled it from the PlayStation Store and many storefronts offered refunds. CD Projekt says those negotiations are now concluded, and here’s how much it’s agreed to pay: $1,850,000 USD.
Fuckers got it easy and cheap. I don't get why they settled for such pathetic sum. I guess those investors are really retarded and have too much money to burn.

Friendly reminder that Cybercunt 2077 is still promintently displayed on GOG's front page. It's been part of the "Highlights" slider ever since its release.
It's currently 50% off, aka just below $34, aka still too fucking expensive.

The only price I'd settle for is a free copy and every single other copy destroyed, plus the source code.
