Fake and (literally) gay.
I have a feeling those sentiments are shared by the real Nintendo of America either way.

I mean, when playing in handheld mode a lot of downgraded games aren't really bad looking but that's mostly because lower resolution and small screen.
When you plug them into your TV you see the lack of detail. Skyrim and Warframe are major offenders there, from my experience (and Warframe is just awful on Switch, in general).

So apparently Game Freak is removing a bunch of Pokemon from the new game and a bunch of nerds are mad about it.

Good, maybe they will only buy 1 game instead of buying both.

At least that's better than ice cream pokemon and bin bag pokemon.
They really should've stopped around 252

More than about 300 per game is really not necessary. The original 150 was too limiting, because it meant you were often forced to use specific pokermans just because they were the only good ones for a particular element.

Example: If you wanted a psychic type, you could either use mewtwo or alakazam and mewtwo was by far the best choice. If you wanted a bug type, you could get fucked because there were no good bug types really. If you wanted a ghost type, gengar or nothing. If you wanted a lightning type, raichu or electabuzz. Fire types? Charizard (weak to lightning and rock) or Arkanine.

But there were a BILLION viable water types for no raisin.
