Why are/were you playing old ass games like SMB? You are Playstation generation Auli, you shouldn't even have any nostalgia feels towards those Nintendo 8-bit games. In 1989 I was in my first grade in elementary school when I got my NES (like almost all boys in my age group, it was a Christmas gift hit that year), no one wanted to play any old shit like ColecoVision, Atari or Commondore64 (Sex Games was still a thing though) after that and when SNES came out no one wanted to play 8-bit games anymore. I find it kinda strange why some youngsters still play these ancient games which were released when they weren't even born yet. Is it some hipster thing? Or is it AVGN influence or something?

89 is pretty late for NES as well, bruh. By that point the Amiga and Atari ST were out, roflstomping the NES.

Oh whatever, anyway, NES was released here in 1987 I believe, but for some reason or another it wasn't a sales hit until 1989, that Christmas every boy in my class got one (except one who got Sega, Sega-faggot lol). Atari ST wasn't a big thing here but while me and my mates were wondering what "Thank you Mario! But our princess is in another castle!" meant, older cooler kids were PC Herrenrasse playing Leisure Suit Larrys, Ultimas, Eye of Beholders etc, they considered that consoles like NES and Sega are for retarded babies.

(Fun fact: All my classmates have more or less succeeded in life, except the one who got Sega, Sega-faggot lol.)
