It's unreal how many small time youtube/twitch channels I see announce they're quitting their jobs to do it full time. Back in the day you'd expect it from a 1mil+ subscriber channel but now you see it from 50k subs. Twitch is even worse. Dudes not even pulling partnership and are trying to live off of donations.
There's one guy I watch every so often who sings professionally, drives for Lyft, then does twitch after all of that because he enjoys it and it pays him. That dude gets my respect.

You can instantly be replaced with something bigger and better. Like Shoenice. He was popular back then, but because of the variety of things that were way more experimental and entertaining then he is (I mean the guy is a living shitshow, but it could only be after a while until it gets played out as he failed to evolve with the times) he pretty much faded, having less than 1k views.
