One of their idiotic talking points has always been that healthy food is more expensive than junk food and that's the reason people use their food stamps on potato chips instead of carrots. Total bullshit.

Potatoes, carrots, beans, rice, noodles are all cheap as fuck. What does cost money is, ironically, food that is hyper-palatable and food that is convenient or sold by a convenience store. Even meat is not so expensive if you get cheap cuts. If you can cook at all, you can eat fairly cheaply.

Notice how all these deathfats can't cook? Probably fully 90% can't cook at all and the remaining are too lazy to cook. They say there's nothing to eat and everything is too expensive because they want all their food premade. Yeah, healthy premade food can be expensive. Healthy restaurant food is expensive. But throwing some rice and beans in a pot with carrots and onions costs fuck all.

The government could make vegetables fucking FREE and most Americans would still prefer an afternoon snack of 3 cheesburgers and a bucket of soda.

It isn't even that expensive unless you're buying guavas or fancy mushrooms or other shit like that. An onion, a tomato, and a sweet potato is like $2 total right now.
True that. Fast food is hyper palatable and takes no prep time. Your average deathfat could buy a bag of baby carrots for $2 from the grocery store and eat that instead of 3 burgers and an XL fries, but they don't. Because the bag of carrots doesn't TASTE as good. That's all it comes down to: taste and laziness. But baby carrots are just as lazy as fast food (buy and shovel into your gob) so it's just taste.

Not even the 20+ filters can make this look appealing.

"Being perceived by people" Well that's a novel way to write that you're an attention whore.
