Sometimes I wonder why the left didn't start a Vergeltungs-meme with their own spin on Pepe, instead of immediately treating the poor frog like Hitler Reborn from now until the heat death of the universe.

I mean, imagine if the alt-right used the peace sign instead, that gay pride flag, or some MLP pony. Would the left have acted the same way?

Absolutely, yes. Especially MLP since there are already plenty of ponys drawn in SS uniforms and Bronies are an easy target.

I saw people freaking out on twitter a few months ago saying that the OK sign () was a symbol meaning "White Power".
