I remember back when Cracked was more about humor than anything. Then they brought in the "real talk" stuff. At first it was subtle. Gentle reminders to the readers that there was a real world out there, bad stuff does happen, but you can laugh at it. Then they went insane with reminding readers that bad stuff happens and you need to be diligent, concerned, and angry all the time. Throw in a few dick jokes to prove that they still have a sense of humor, but mostly remind people to be outraged.
John Cheese quickly became one of these living reminders. Yeah, the articles were kind of inspirational at first. White trash kid overcomes alcoholism, becomes a writer, finds success and happiness, etc. If he did it, so can you (TM). Then he got into the social justice bullshit, somehow tying it in with his recycled stories about his shitty upbringing, which added to the site's continuing downward spiral.
I remember when the riots were happening around Flynt, Michigan, and how these assholes were totally for the destruction. "Sometimes civil change needs to result in damaged homes, ruined livelihoods, and terrified people!" was pretty much their message.
I'm sure if the Cracked office building were set on fire, Asian Appropriator Wong and his pack will be standing outside, watching the flames while wondering how this could happen to them. But the ensuing article will be "7 Reasons Why Civil Change Needs to Happen in Our Own Lives" or some shit.

Lupa is alone. She has no one. Fucking Spoony has a better social life than her and he's practically a chair.
