You have no idea how creatively bankrupt this shit is. They even made some episode about Abe's wrestling past that was effectively a much lamer version of Raging Abe Simpson and His Grumbling Grandson in "The Curse of the Flying Hellfish". And not to mention various episodes bringing back one-off characters from 10+ seasons ago. Because I always wondered what happened to those two hoes that Homer and Ned married in Vegas.

Main reason: Rebecca Sugar. I'm glad I never gave Steven Universe a chance. What was once a very expressive cartoon that defined the early 2010's turned into a depressing more story oriented show.
I don't really have a problem with that, the problem is that it introduced the filler romance plots and all that other shit that just ruined it for me.
Now I can remember why I haven't watched the show in a long time aside from that cash grab barebones finale.

As for the Simpsons, those few episodes actually starring Bart from the past 20 years are arguably worth saving. The rest isn't even good background noise.
And Groening I'm sure has plied his success into getting horizontal. He's a massive merchandising hypocrite. Hates Fox buts squeezes every last dollar he can from them and rides them like a naked chick on a pony. He disowned Futurama then took credit for it when fans saw that it wasn't shit (of course it became shit when it was brought back). He show is only getting another Netflix season because it was cheap, 10 episodes, and everyone gets multiple seasons on ShitFlix.
