The genesis games were pretty fun, honestly sports games stopped being fun when they went 3D (much like women)

I've seen this algorithm posted around but I didn't knew that not only it was true, it was part of the Quake 3 Arena engine. It's a truly ingenious piece of mathematical and high performance hacking in C, but also an example of how code obfuscation can make something completely unintelligible.

Code can get pretty fucking unintelligible. Like say during contests where you have to accomplish a specific task with the minimum amount of code, which usually results in some weird clustferfuck of bit operations.
And don't get me started on code written so it will execute with multiple different programming languages.
