Didn't they get in trouble with ad agencys in the past when it was found ads are appearing on all sorts of questionable material. Its gonna blow up in thier face when ads start appearing on videos showing isis beheadings, baby monkey torture, plane crash compilations, child abuse, moonman songs that didn't get nuked yet, ect.
I don't know anything about YT facing consequences for their actions but I've heard from third hand sources that before the erection political ads would play on terrible children's entertainment. YT don't care.

I'm sure their algorithms are good enough by now to mark problematic stuff to not run ads on them. Deleting that stuff automatically is also on their agenda in the future, I'm certain.
