It's not a recent phenomenon. She's been doing it for years, always in a slight variation of the same style:

Head more or less turned to the right (as much as she can turn her head, anyways), eyes (up and) to the left.

Could be some subconscious fear of being caught In flagrante delicto. At least when she's gorging herself in public (aka a mostly empty parking lot) her eyes keep darting all over the fucking place.

But why stop here? I have more impressions of terror for all of you:
