This. SJWs seem to have a lot of free time on their hands, because when they’re not dredging up something to bitch about they’re posting some gay shit they’re doing.

I recently say an article about how Animorphs was pro trans but refused to even humor it, if they can latch onto something and make it favorable to them, they tear it down.
I was hoping that series was obscure and old enough to be off the NPC radar. Those books were my shit growing up.
Same here, those books were really solid and rather dark science fiction despite the demographic. Violence/gore, serious consequences, and a really dark overtone. Like sure it’s about adolescent kids fighting an alien invasion who can chill together and laugh and make jokes, but they know if they fuck up all is lost and everyone they know is at risk of being taken by the Yeerk.

Thanks Vox, now kindly morph into a lemming and run off a cliff. Yeah I know they don’t do that but some sort of animal that is prone to death will do.

And I don’t believe a fucking word of this story.
Did you read Animorphs? The books were all the rage at my elementary school, but I deemed them “boy books” and would not pick them up. (My elementary school self had some Problematic views.) At Avidly, Cassius Adair remembers reading Animorphs as a trans kid:
When I meet trans people for the first time, especially in mixed company, I’ll sometimes try out this line where I mention Animorphs offhand, as if I don’t take it seriously, as if I didn’t spend the majority of my first puberty wishing that I were turning into a bird or a tiger instead of into a young woman. More often than not, trans folks will say something to me like, “Oh my god, right? Tobias was totally trans!” Cisgender people will usually take this as their cue to get another drink.
Conflating Tobias' choice to live life as a red tailed hawk as some stunning and brave mangle dick statement is patently retarded. It had more to do with making the best of a bad situation. He got trapped cause he couldn't find a safe spot to change back to human and there was a huge adjustment period in like book 3 where he gets so desperate for food he eats road kill.

He genuinely loves being able to fly, and has a shitty home life, to the point that all they had to do to cover his disappearance was tell his relatives that another relative had him at their house.

His psyche becomes more and more twisted by the hawk brain and he uses its instincts to survive, he doesn't want to change or lose himself. The hawk wasn't "his true self", it was the brain of an animal and his humanity slipped and became blurred because of it, even after the Ellimist gives him his morphing power back the catch is living as a hawk even though he could morph back to human. He wanted to be able to help the only people that ever gave a fuck about him.

Fuck this gay earth to hell.

Animorphs was kino as fuck. Leave it alone.

See, I don't even actually mind if someone sees a little of their own shit in something like Tobias's hawkening. He permanently becomes something he wasn't before, is happier that way, all the stuff Mr. Glowman just said. Whatever. Good fiction has applicability, and different people can relate to different aspects of it, even if the details don't match 100% with their own stuff. Hell, that's part of the point. It's when social crusaders start planting flags in characters and stories and screeching territorial shit like "[Charname] IS trans!!! They're OURS!! Cis people bye!!1" that it gets to be, as that writer says, a cue to get another drink.

In another book they all become ants in order to sneak into their yeerk controlled principal's house and end up almost being ripped to shreds when the local ants begin to tear them limb from limb. The book goes into eerie detail about the hive mind of the ants slipping in, trying to control them, and their human brains causing the ant colony to label them all as intruders.

CLEARLY this was a scathing rebuke of Leftism/Socialism/Communism and a pro alt-right piece of literature if I ever saw one!

Nailed it. Yeerks are woke folk, and we’re the resistance “morphing” from our IRL selves to our usernames to protect our identities and loved ones while we destroy the sjw invasion via shitposting.

Tobias mainly chose to stay as a hawk so he could help his friends and not be useless. He was torn, but unlike the transtrenders once he made the choice to revert to human for over two hours that was it for him, no more fighting. After his fine ass bitch Rachel died like a boss he was devastated and chose to remain as a hawk, having nothing left. His ending was bleak and ambiguous and one of the nails in the coffin of the dark finale.

Glad I can talk Animorphs on DHI.

Rachel was a good ending. She was told she was a fluke of nature, a glitch in the system and really had no purpose, but she goes out like a boss. The Ellimist even tells her to her face before she dies that she had no role in the game and just sort of happened. That's brutal lol

Edit: correction, she was a random addition, but mattered by the end.

Wait. I admit I never finished the series of books. I got to the 3rd to last book. The one after the dumb negress Cassie gives the Yeerk the cube which then lets them morph as well and ends with Nate's (That's the leader's name right? parents getting control by the Yeerk while the rest of the humans escape to some place.

So Rachel, aka Xena as Marco called her, dies? Holy shit that's deep for a kid's book.

Not just that, but she kills Jake’s brother aka one of the Yeerk higher ups and most personal hosts in the process. They really amped up the finale, like the military gets involved and shit.

It ends on a dark note, like they’re adults, Tobias is assumed dead due to his hawk lifespan, and Ax goes MIA. When they find him he’s under control by some unknown enemy, one who has surgically given him a mouth. The last words are from Jake, an order to “Ram the blade ship.” I remember being stunned as a kid, assuming they were all going to die. Even the author said she wanted them to go out as they went in, fighting.

I’d love a gritty hard R animated series based on the franchise. Live action would just look cheap and you wouldn’t be able to convey the scale on a tv budget.

Edit: From the wiki
The next day an Andalite scout ship reported finding a human body floating in space. Young, female. The Blade ship had jettisoned her body before going into Zero space. The Andalites brought her to California. Near the devastation that was all that was left of our homes. I was there when Rachel returned. Her mother was there, too. The Andalites treated her body with great respect. She had been wrapped in some sort of soft cloth. I guess it was the Andalite way. They uncovered her face and Rachel's mom and I identified her. Two days later, Rachel's body was cremated. It was inconceivable that she'd ever want to be buried in the ground. She ended up as a few handfuls of ashes in a pretty china urn. Everyone was at the memorial ceremony. By this point our story had swept the planet. Everyone alive knew our names. The memorial had to be held outside. Fortunately it was a nice day. You could see the Pacific Ocean from the spot in the cemetery where Rachel's monument would be placed. There was an honor guard of free Hork-Bajir. Two dozen Andalite warriors stood at attention. Our friend and ally General Doubleday was there and quite a few men and women in uniform. Jake and Marco and me and Ax. We all gave little speeches. The President of the United States was there. He gave a speech, too. I guess Rachel would have liked it, in her own way. She would have laughed. She would have thought it was all way over the top, but at the same time, she would have liked the attention. Would have, but she was a few ounces of ash in a jar resting inside an open wooden box.

I'm sure you're aware, but there was a TV version. It was fairly shit, but the theme song was breddy gud.

My bad. It was Jake. I don't know why I thought it was Nate. So she also kills Tom as well. Damn. Wild shit. So the final book is from Cassie's point of view. I don't like that. I would have preferred Jake to bookend the series but I guess him being the third to last book she didn't want to go back to quickly.

I never watched the show on Nickelodeon even though I heard of it.
