Remember, it's not the number of reps, it's keeping the muscle under tension for long enough. Better lift slow and keep tension at all times with less reps than quickly throwing weight around just to get to a number. When in doubt, go until failure.
You BSing me or serious? I been drinkin...

Nope, completely serious. Fifteen reps means shit if you're just trying to get done quickly and basically swing the weight. The point is to stress the muscle under tension, not getting to some magic number. Basically any set that doesn't take you at least 45 seconds and where you relax the muscles for half of it is a waste of time.

The word Beerstein is an american word with no real german basic. It means Beer Stone in english and is a misstranslation. See, in germany and bavaria we say Bierkrug oder Masskrug for the big oktoberfest glass. The wrong translation comes with high possibility from older times when the mugs were made from ceramic and not glass. The special ceramic and the look of it was named "Steingut" or rouhtg translated "Stone Wares",
Basicly wares made from stone/ceramic.
I think in the olden times some english settler in the 1760 asked a guy from germany about thy weird mug and the german told him that "Das ist mein steingut Bierkrug" and from there everyone went with it

Not buying it. Dude's blunt and to the point. That's way more Grimm than it is Andersen.

There's no such thing as a "bier stein". Octoberfest mugs are made of glass anyway.
