I think Mike's always been a contrarian, so it's hard to say. I recall it had something to do with a student protest on campus and Mike was going off about how student protests are retarded. (And he's right, BTW.)

It's just bizarre his career kicked off because he made videos with rape jokes in an old man voice. And you can see Jack in one the phantom menace review so neither clearly gave a fuck about it at the time. Obviously Jack drank the koolaid and like Kugel said, I guess mike is just really good at hiding it.
