The recent animated Mortal Kombat used Johnny Cage as a joke character. Why can't they just do that? Just make him the Jack Burton of the story. (Since Mortal Kombat is a ripoff of Big Trouble in Little China anyways.)

I’d prefer a Street Fighter movie done as a kung fu throwback in the vein of like Kung Fu Hustle.

Did not watch the re:view recause I find the format kind of tiresome and Event Horizon isn't really my favorite movie anyway.. I like it enough and it clearly inspired Dead Space which I do like a lot..

Mortal Kombat is a enjoyably crappy movie based on an enjoyably crappy arcade game. There's not much more to it than that.
