Close, Covid is basically Lung AIDS except there are cases where the person actually dies of the virus itself, unlike HIV. It's not like it's first viurs to fuck over the body's immune system but Covid has a tendency to exhaust the body to pneumonia-levels of recovery but for a bit longer and that's what fucks up most people, since it's not common to have such a potent IS-harming virus go around.
