Champloo is fine. I just feel japanese cinema has already addressed a lot of the stories it tells, and done so better. A lot of the stories are basically retreads of shit like Yojimbo.

I'd rather talk about how funco has completely destroyed the notion of a collectable. In about 30 5 years these shits will be clogging up landfills around the world. It's a poorly-molded piece of chinese plastic. I struggle to think of anything on the planet with LESS fucking intrinsic value.

It's very similar with old comics. I can see original Steiff teddy bears being worth a fortune because of the general craft and the fact there aren't too many around that are still in good condition, but Funko Pops? They're mostly the same, slightly-modified mold, shat out by the thousands (if not more).
