I can see that happening quite soon. It's running on a Tegra so it's well known hardware.

Nah. It's the X button, the O button, the triangle button and the square button. We call it an, "X," button because it's a lot easier to know what you mean. People tend to associate the term, "cross," with the Christian symbol.
The only game I've ever played that calls it the, "cross," button is a Harry Potter shovelware title.

Re: Extra Credits (aka Extra Harassment)
I was just pondering anyway. I'm not really suggesting it to be called cross. It's just weird how it's such a mish mash of shapes and letters and accepted as the normal way. I wonder what Sony's stance is on that. There must be some document of their copyright on the button notation and mention what the "official" naming of that button is.

I don't know about official names but I do know that they always intended the O button and the X button to be confirm and cancel, respectively. Square was intended to represent a menu, or something, too, so I don't think they had names so much as inherent meanings.Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Sun Jun 24, 2018 3:13 amThere must be some document of their copyright on the button notation and mention what the "official" naming of that button is.

Re: Extra Credits (aka Extra Harassment)
Portability is cool. It's so much more convenient to game on the can, in a car, on a bus, etc. There's a reason normalfags play phone games all day. Now imagine if they could play an actually good game instead of Poggle Match x3: Microtransaction Edition.
My problem with the switch is more of a general problem with nintendo and their continuing shitty attitude towards pricing and their consumer base. I think the switch is very overpriced for what it is at this time. I'm also not crazy that it's a hybrid rather than a completely portable system.
Oh and I think pepsi said this, but I was unclear, so I'll just reiterate that Circle is confirm in jap games and X is cancel. It's switched in US games for some reason.
