Probably planned an epic crossover between the two at some point, but then the Dark Times (tm) happened to Spoony.
The funny bit is that his Poyo/Pollo/Whatever you write is just a terrible MST3K fanbot. I think it later got an "upgraded" version (made by someone else, of course) that could actually turn its head and move its stubby arms up and down a bit, but the original has like no points of articulation.
He made his own "season" of MST3K after the show got cancelled (before AT4W and the Netflix MST3K). He posted it at one point and I watched a few minutes and got bored. There is one of those Rifftrax Live videos where you can see Lewis and his MST3K robot in the audience during the end credits. (Don't remember what movie it was, though.)

Though there's hope he got kicked out by security later after trying to start negotiations about a robot crossover.

Linky, Spoony and Doge also MST3K-ed some old black & white educational shorts. I think they did "Boys Beware" (the one about homossexuals), another one about behavin on parties, and maybe Duck & Cover (if I'm not mistaken).

Since they as far as I know never had this stuff in Krautland, I only know MST3K through Spoopy and other spazzes and became very fond of it.
After watching it though I always felt they did not do it especially well themselves.

I only heard of it through Spoony, NC and Brad Jones who claims it’s his favourite. I watched some of it and have no clue how anyone can watch a full episode it’s boring as fuck.
