I saw him mention a while ago that he had to get new glasses and they didn't make the frames for the ones he used to wear any more.

Spoiler. This issue sold 30k more a month than the previous issue because everyone hate bought it for liefeld art.

The entire success story of Image Comics is based upon hate.

I can't stay mad at Liefeld. He gets called to draw a comic book, gets a nice paycheck, the book gets a huge boost in sales, and people get mad and he counts his money. What I do know is the 30,000 boost wasn't from Simone's writing; the book was subpar before she guest wrote, and it continued to be subpar after she handed the reigns back. Seriously, Geoff Johns' run on Teen Titans alienated pretty much every Young Justice fan in the 90's.

I love that everything Lewis hates about Liefeld also applies to him. Can't draw, can't write, every original character is just a rip-off of better characters, and he never improves.

Except that in recent years Liefeld has been trying to grow as a creator while Lewis wallows in mediocrity.
