That tweet has been bothering me, so:

Melania got permanent resident status in 2001, she married the Donald in 2005 and got naturalised in 2006. You have to wait three years to get your green card if you marry a US citizen, your spouse is the one who does the paperwork and it's not an automatic path to naturalisation. So, clearly her citizenship had nothing to do with being married to Donald. You could argue that Donald helped her get permanent residence but even that was predicated on her being a proper international model who qualified for a certain visa

Barron Trump is American because his father is American. His mother could have been from North Korea and he could have been born in North Korea and he'd still be what they call a natural born US citizen, idiots.

Even if she brought over her whole family, we're talking about three people. Her mum, dad and older sister. It's not what Trump is talking about when he talks about chain migration, which is people coming over and then bringing over their parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, first cousins, second cousins, third cousins, all their spouses and children

That entire tweet was a string of lies and bullshit. An impressive amount of dishonesty tbh. Ivanka had gainful employment and wasn't trying to prey upon our social safety nets while avoiding paying taxes and engaging in gangland behaviors.
Even if they had Barron in Russia, he's the son of an American citizen.
