No it isn't. You're a fucking retard. Compared to Blu-Ray HD DVD has considerably lower bit rate and storage capacity. The only advantage that HD DVD has over Blu-Ray is there's no region lock out and now all 4K Blu-Ray has no region lock out either. There's a reason HD DVD lost the format war.

Porn had nothing to do with it. There was porn on HD DVD. That whole market had already shifted so much towards digital internet sales that it didn't matter and will never again matter for any physical medium.

Putting aside video James it kinda surprises me. For rent yes, but most movies now aren't worth buying, let alone to see in theaters.

Hollywood is killing piracy by making movies so bad they're not even worth pirating. I know that I haven't fired a BitTorrent client to download a movie since 2018, and it was to download an older movie (The Usual Suspects).
