Sad when the only way James can express himself is in an advertisement for a VPN. Also PIA is much better and cheaper.

I'm getting sick of all of these people advertising the same few VPNs on youtube. There has to come a point where these people realize that there's a reason they're paying people so much money to get people paying to use their service and something isn't quite right about it.

If I had a dollar for every NordVPN sponsorship, in particular, that I've seen I'd be able to buy everyone who regularly posts here a decent house.

Yeah there's a reason why these certain companies are advertising and it's because they are not that good with either speeds or actually keeping logs. If you have any sort of technical savvyness then you know private internet access is just the absolute best for the money, and a lot of times if you pay attention theirs deals where it's actually cheaper per year than these other companies.

Its plain simply boring and awful, the AVGN is a relic of an old era that needs to retire

Everybody ends up doing the same old games nowadays. You'd think with his money he could do a proper review of something terrible from this century.
Or at least something no one else talks about, like his Swordquest exposé.

Anyone who genuinely is only hearing of this for the first time is probably some old boomer/Gen Xer whose only interaction with the Internet is eBay and Yahoo email.

I think that like Doge, he no longer even cares enough to pick the topic. Somebody was rooting around old files or just watching someone else do a review of Superman 64 and was like "yo James, your old review sucks, we're doing it again"
and James, true to himself, said "um, ok"

Nah.

It's a shame, cause only like two-three years ago, James was still heralded as the one guy from the dawn of the internet who hadn't lost his way - sure, maybe the quality was down, but it was still him doing his thing.
But now, he's become what Spoony would have become if he had less of an ego - someone whose internet career is completely on life support, who lets someone else do all the work.

I mean, sure, *maybe* James is working on his movie(just like Noah), but it'd be nice if he made an update about that or just about anything to remind us that yeah, he does still give two shits about Cinemassacre.
